Ultra Magnus is an Autobot and he is the city commander and leader of the wreckers but he play the game by the book and has a powerful hammer that controls storms.
And he is also a member of the Council of Light, along with Alpha Trion, and Primus.
And he is reprised by Jeff Bennett in the English dub as a tribute to Robert Stack and Banjo Ginga in the Japanese dub.
