Mewtwo is a friend to Ashram, member of the Legendary Pokemon, led by Arceus of the Council of Light, and also guardian of Chris Thorndyke, Sherry Birkin, and the rest of the heroes.
He is voiced by James Earl Jones, the voice of Mufasa in the English dub and Masachika Ichimura in the Japanese dub.
While his shadow self known as "Shadow Mewtwo" is voiced by Jeremy Irons, the voice of Scar in the English dub and Masachika Ichimura in the Japanese dub, same with the original Mewtwo.
