Jon Peterson is the main protagonist of the reboot of Hero: 108 as he first starts out as the unknown hero that probably that would be Hero: 000, until the series finale movie states after battling with the Bronze Giant, the transformation of Lin Chung, he starts to understand that he is now known as Hero: 108 and the only hope for Hidden Kingdom to stop Twin Masters from destroying Hidden Kingdom, and after defeating him, he became free from his orb, and will keep protecting Hidden Kingdom from Twin Masters and his army at all costs.
In the Legacy of Chris Thorndyke, he was shown to be hidden in the eighth sagas, covered in black until he disappears out of trace (or he would simply walk away or jump off somewhere) until he is fully revealed in the true final saga that he meets up with Chris Thorndyke (which he was formed as a bumblebee then transforming himself into many animals from a bee to a dragon and then to his true form, a genie-like human, despite having cuffs from Aladdin) and also taking a liking to Chris, he tells that he is perfect to be his successor, noting how he is the only one who can defeat Tokoyami, even that he told the legend as he spoke of as he meant "the shadow that controls everything in his path" while referring to his rival, Twin Masters. He even told that to believe in himself that even a smidge makes all a difference and in the final battle, he joined with Amaterasu to join Chris and Helen in the battle against Twin Masters and Tokoyami to return peace to the omniverse and once and for all and end his vengeance.
In the past in season 1, he was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in the English dub and Noriaki Sugiyama in the Japanese dub.
And in season 2 and in the Legacy of Chris Thorndyke, he is currently now and forevermore voiced by Sean Schemmel in the English dub and Jouji Nakata in the Japanese dub.
